What do you think would happen if they had an election where you could only read about the person running for president and not see what they look like. You had to go off completely what the person was proposing and not what s*x or race they were?

  1. This idea has tremendous appeal, as far as removing all the influence of such idiotically irrelevant things as what continent someone's ancestors were born on, or whether their reproductive organs were inside or outside their body.

What would be best, though, would be lots of details about what they've done, that being a better indication of what they're most likely to do in office.

The downside is that we get a lot of GOOD information from seeing and hearing people  -- whether they give off a weaselly vibe, for instance.

But I've long thought that part of the beauty of the Internet is that that's all we have to go on to judge people by. You might not listen to my point, if you knew I was a White, middle-aged broad (I don't mean YOU, specifically, but people, for instance, on this site).

There are quite a few men who simply don't take women seriously in direct conversation. Since they refuse to listen to what I'm saying, it makes for frustrating discussions.
