  1. "Another option is to take the Heathrow Express train from your terminal to Paddington Station. This costs 15 GBP (about $30 USD) and takes just 25 minutes from the terminal. Departures are frequent and the trip is very comfortable. From Paddington, you can hop on the Tube's Circle line, which will bring you directly to St Pancras."

  2. Piccadilly Line, from Heathrow direct to Kings Cross / St Pancras.  It'd take about an hour, but there are no changes involved which is always good if you're travelling with bags etc.

  3. Take the underground from Kings Cross St Pancras to Paddington and follow signs to Heathrow Express and main station.  Note- if you plan to use underground option make sure that you buy correct zone and dont come out of the underground network of you will be charged again. The Picadilly line goes directly to Heathrow and takes about 55 mins.  other options which may work out quicker (but probably not at rush hour are:

The Heathrow Express from Paddington takes 15 mins and leaves every 15 mins - but its expensive - approx £15 each way, but is a very good reliable service, takes you right into T1,2,3 4 or 5 - and links into London transport at Paddington.  The cheapest way is to take the underground on the Picadilly line which will take about 50 mins to an hour to get there - if you use the underground make sure you buy it  with an oyster prepay card as its less than half the cash fare.  A taxi takes about 30 mins to an hour - depending on traffic and will cost you about £40-50 (make sure its a black cab) so if theres 4 or 5 of you a taxi can be as cheap and convenient but takes longer.
