What would be the race of someone who..?

..is Egyptian (in Africa) with white tanned skin, light brown hair and green eyes who has Turkish origins and calls himself an Arab? (speaks arabic and lives in Egypt which is an Arab country)...?

He's obviously mixed but what race should he go by? he's fillig this application and its either black or white..

I would say he is the race of which ever country he is born in.  He is a person with a nationality regardless what he looks like.  Don't go by the looks - go by the nationality. If he is born in Egypt, speaks Arabic...he is Arab - regardless he is white, black, purple, green or any other colors.

What about Middle Eastern? Would that do? He could say Turk, Arab or Egyptian, or all these things if he wanted... but he'd have to write them down in "other" I guess. Then list all he wanted to identify by.

He's not white by virtue of having A.rab blood.

He's black.

He's Egyptian, nothing else, & no one has the right to ask him to specify in more detail his colour or religion. If he decides to do so, then thats his choice only.

you are not required to designate which race you are on an application, it's unlawful to ask
