I don't think it is totally true. Ok you really think we actually make global warming? Back when the first ice age happened how did all of the ice melt so quickly? You really think that cave men had large factories and millions of cars? I dont think so. It is a natural climate change. We basically have nothing to do with global warming. It is a natural thing.

For your question comanies can say that their product is "green" and well sell better.

new conduit for purchases. how many of anything do we really need. now everything is so saturated. what else is there.

maybe  green cell phones, green plasma TVs, green nascar racing, green blu-ray dvds,..... green tv dinners, green febreeze, green proactiv... green disinfectant, antibacterial, germ -mold destroying wipes..... green moonshine keep it in your fridge or in your gas tank... green ufc...green gm foods...

if we really really cared. we would donate all our money for pets stuff to people who really need it, living on this planet.

The media typically exagerates things like this in order to increase viewing. If your scared, you are going to pay more attention to the news for any developments. Also, they can sell things at higher prices, like fluorescent light bulbs and hybrid cars (which are good products because they save money). Sometimes global warming is even used to further peoples' careers (I can't believe Al Gore won a Nobel Prize for a scientific movie that ends with a prayer, plus he won an Oscar for the same stupid movie!).

Democrats want to part you and your money thru a thing called "cap and trade." and the government would hold all the carbon credits the industries of our nation would need to buy. then the industries would have no choice but to raise their prices which we would have to pay for our goods. the reason i say it's the democrats is that almost all of the dems are aligned with the people who started global warming, the environmentalist wackos. the wackos wont be satisfied until we live in caves with torches on the wall.

also government funded scientists need global warming hoax to keep their funding, and with no government funding they would have to go into the private sector with the most of us to find a new job, so they try to keep the hoax alive to retain their jobs.

There is no benefit to make it up. IMO they are not playing up the right scenario. We all know global warming exists. To say that it doesn't is ignorant, so is blaming it on the wrong causes. As stated already, global warming and cooling are natural phenomena. Sure, our pollution might be escalating the problem, but in essence it really has nothing to do with us. That does not mean we should be complacent about it, it just means we are barking up the wrong tree. It has been discovered that sunspots play a bigger role in the cycle of life on Earth than anyone realised, or cared to believe. So there is nothing we can do about it.

Ancient people were alot more intelligent and had much better understanding of the cycle of life, magnetic fields and of astronomy. It is only through our own materialism and suppression that we have become so blinded to what is right under our noses. Wake up people!!

People are buying carbon credits to pay for the global warming damage they are supposedly doing. We are talking billions of dollars. Who is getting the money? Where is it going?
