  1. soundstream 500 watt amp best you can get for that setup, use dynomay or sound dampening material that will stp it

  2. any amp with these specs= about 800watts RMS @ .5, 2, or 8ohms and is CEA-compliant

the lower the impedance the lower the sound quality but the easier (cheaper) it is to power, and most amps are not stable below 2ohms- if you go with 8ohms it will cost an arm and a leg to power them- so...... 2ohms is your best bet

CEA-compliant means that the amp has been tested and produces or exceeds the advertised RMS wattage with minimum distortion (distortion is the main cause of sub failure from under powering , not overpowering)

    here are the CEA-compliant brands

    Alpine

    Bazooka

    Blaupunkt

    Clarion

    Eclipse

    Infinity

    JBL

    JL Audio

    Kenwood

    Kicker

    MTX

    Pioneer

    Polk Audio

    Rockford Fosgate

    Sony

your best option to stop the deck from rattling is to use some dynamat http://www.crutchfield.com/app/product/g...

  3. There is no right or wrong amp.  It depends on your budget as to what amp will suit.

I would be looking for a 2 channel amp with a rms rating of 800watts.  RMS means in effect "continous music power"  its what the subs will handle day in and day out.  Any more than 800watts rms and you will blow your subs to kingdom come.

Shop around see whats about, but bear in mind that the more expensive amps will deliver "cleaner" power to your subs so not only will they sound better and louder, they will not distort as opposed to cheaper componentry in cheaper amps,

You could buy a bigger amp with more rms and turn the gains down if you are looking to buy bigger subs at some stage, but these should kick just fine if placed in the correct sized and type of enclosure.

As for the back deck rattling?  Spray some bitumenous tar across the steel part of the deck and under it or you can buy bitumenous matting now, you just have to cut it to shape and peel off one side for self adhesive (remove deck and cover with plastic sheets etc) Foam underlay under the deck and place some small pieces of foam around the boot springs where they join if they cross over under the deck being careful that they dont interfere with the operation of the boot.

    Good Luck!
