  1. I purchased a Toyota Prius in April of 2005 and I love it.  I have had no problems with it up to this point.  (Knock on wood)  I get 45 to 50 mpg during the summer and 40 to 45 mpg during the winter.  It is one of the best purchases I have made.

  2. Check out the 2009 Prius, it does it better for longer and for less plus the subtle body style changes really wake it up!

  3. The Toyota Prius is the best selling of the hybrid cars. There are many things to like about this car. I find no fault at all with this choice, however, my needs are based on other factors besides wishing just a hybrid car.The Prius can't match the Camry's quietness and its elegant ride. The 2008 Camry Hybrid is also considered a good value. CNN also lists the car as one of the most cost effective hybrids sold today, based on a value equation that weighs its premium against its annual fuel savings. In previous years many people have complained about the Camry Hybrid's inflated price, but for the 2008 model has a lower manufacturer's suggested retail price. Toyota considers the Hybrid the top of the line trim for its conventional Camry, therefore, the car comes fully loaded like the Camry XLE. I like it!

  4. The honda insight would be my choice. It was the first hybrid in the US. It gets significantly better mpg then the prius in normal driving conditions without any modifications done to the vehicle its self.

  5. hybrids are super inefficient and as enviromently unfriendly as possible, it takes twice as much energy to make them and the juice they run on comes from burning fossil fuels. Your better off with an effient bycicle.

  6. Well some people have suggested the Chevy Volt.  If you're willing to wait until 2010 to buy a new car, the Volt will be one among many great options:

Right now you're correct that the Prius is the best option available.  It's the cheapest hybrid, has the best fuel efficiency, has the highest customer satisfaction of any car at 92%, and is the greenest car on the planet.

  7. i like the 100% electric Tesla Roadster! ZOMG!! that car is amazing in all aspects of everything!!! 0 to 60 in under four seconds. ZERO EMISSIONS! and it gets the equivalent of 135 miles per gallon. and it's only $.02 per mile!! Talk about saving gas! this car USES NONE!!!!

  8. 66 Galaxy,wont pollute it if don't run.

  9. i like the excursions..gets maby 10 miles a gallon...talk about saving gas!!!!!..oh yes..and i like semi trucks...good gas conserves..yep...

  10. The Toyota Prius appears to be the one of choice, but I will reserve judgement until I see the results of a test that started yesterday.

CBS started with one in California and with some kind of Ford I think it was in Pittsburgh, and the will meet up somewhere in between.

At the end of Day 1 the Toyota had the better figures.

  11. I think that a car that could run on compressed air that can constantly refill itself with a gernerator, its free....

  14. None. The high cost of batteries.VW diesel is the best choice, and converted to run wvo.I blow d**n hybrids away with chicken smoke.

  15. The Toyota.

  16. I like the Chevy Volt, which hopefully will be released in 2010!  It plugs into an electrical outlet in your garage to charge, and the first 40 miles or so that you drive off that charge, you're car won't use any gas at all!!!!
