What would be your dream hunt?

I already got to do mine, I am so lucky that I lived in Alaska for 7 years and was able to hunt moose.

What would your dream hunt be?

I think i would like to do a combo hunting trip and while im there hunt one more animal. I would like to go to Alaska or Yukon and hunt the big moose and the big grizzly, on my way home or while im there i would like to take a big horned sheep

I'd go back home to Northern Ontario hunting deer and small game.

I remember growing up in Algoma country playing with my 2 brothers in the back yard (it was 1000's of acres of crown land) hunting grouse and hares, seeing lots of deer leaping throw the forest in the near distance.  

[then the family moved south near Toronto when I was 15 ]

It's been 15 years sense me and my brothers have been back home to hunt, I'd love the chance to go back to harvest from the land that gave use so much joy and food when we were a kids.

The other part of this dream hunt would be to do it as a 2+ week camping trip with my brothers, father, and selected cousins and my uncle John.

My dream hunt would be with 5 or 6 ladies from Alaska on a 4 week Caribou hunt in the interior (Alaska) with out my wife, and one BIG sleeping bag! Oh here comes the wife with that frying pan again!

I'd have to say Buffalo or Lion in Africa.

But realistically I'd settle for a plains game hunt for Zebra, Impala, Kudu, and Gemsbuck.

Elk in the Black Hills of South Dakota. My grandparents used to take me to the Black Hills every summer on the way to Wibaux, MT where my grand father was born and I just love the area. Unfortunately I don't live in South Dakota so there is no chance for me to do that unless I move to South Dakota, and I don't think that my wife will let that happen.

I would say that my dream hunt would have to be to hunt moose in either canada or alaska!! It would be AWESOME if i could do a combo trip for fishing for salmon & halibut and go waterfowl & upland hunting while I'm there too!! That would be AMAZING...

My dream hunt would be Africa. I have always wanted to do that with big bore black powder Cape guns as well as modern cape guns. I would take my brothers and the wives. After the hunt, wife&I would sit down with the local tribe and eat my kill with them.

Oh and I disagree with Jim A answer. If a fellow spent 4 weeks caribou hunting with 5 Alaskan women in the Interior, one of three things would happen.

1.Was pampered a bit by the pretty Alaskan women, who knew the outdoors, some more than him. And came back with a fantastic hunt.

2.Was beat to a bloody pulp by 5 strong pretty women for being a jerk.

3.Or had a heck of a good time and could not walk for a month and never shot a single caribou or left the tent.

I live in Australia and we have some buffalo down here we classify as pests in the Northern Territory. People go there and have a ball shooting the two different kinds of buffalo. Thats my dream, should happen soon.
