  1. I have to admit passing my test on my DT50M back in 1981 was pretty d**n cool, moving up to a DT125LC at age 17 was a dream come true also. Almost 30 years on I would have to go with the Manx or maybe one of the last 500GP bikes. I raced a TZ250 a few years ago, that was pretty cool. I now race CB350 K4s here in the US, not so cool but cheap and great friends have been made.

  2. Well you got me going on this one !!

My ultimate bike ride : - 1) Honda RS 250 on the

    A488 & A489 Shrewsbury to Craven Arms -

Challenging but rewarding, nice and bendy through

Hope Valley - An excellent Cafe usally encrouched

with all Biker persona's to finish off - HEAVEN

My other ultimate bike ride is not to ride at all -

but to be on the BACK of my chopper, riding into

the warm sunset - my thighs tightly gripped on to

the back of my main man (no not 'im in-doors) -

1st choice Vale of course and 2nd (just as unlikely)

    Sam Elliott - x*x -

(lol) Cheers for that - It's been a while since

the old heart pumped that fast !! Phew - x*x -

  3. Ultimate ride? Good question!

For the road, the A170 from Helmsley to Stokley. More popularly known as the North Yorks TT.

For the track, I would have to say its a toss up between an RVF 400 at Cadwell Park full circuit, or a day out at Spa.

Spa is one of the greatest circuits in the world, and chasing after the 500cc lap record ( still held by Barry Sheene MBE ) would just be a fantastic ride out.

In close second I guess a track I have never ridden. The Nurburgring.

  4. I would like a go around the Island on a good old fashioned V4 500 Yam. just to mix the mountain air and 2 stroke oil.

Or just a blast around Donny on Casey's monster just to see how scary it is. or how far around I can get before binning it.

  5. to just grab a credit card with no limit, get on my bike and take off for a few months, no destination , no time frame, just ride wherever the whim of the moment takes me. That would be the best ride ever.

  6. im not really into the dakar rally of trips like that i ride atvs, my best day in riding would be at glamis (a very popular 83 square mile sand pit) on my race ready 08 honda 450r with a sunny day of course

  7. To be in the first South American "Dakar" rally in a few months time.

The Isle Of Man on a Manx Norton would be brilliant as well, so I would happily join you in that. The other dream bike for me on the Island would on the Britten - just fantastic, or a genuine Mike Hailwood Ducati.

Philip Island on just about anything would be a dream.

  8. I would go for the island and give it the wrath of thou on me gsxr

  9. mine will be the one where i ride around Rhyl next week and the guy in flourescent jacket riding behind me says you,ve passed at the end of it .

  10. Britten v1000 round Brands Hatch. Fogartys Yammie at the man of Isle.Fogartys 916 round Assen.Baylisses Duke round Misano.Rossis Yammie at Phillip Island .Baylisses Duke round Phillip Island.Mick Doohans NSR round Donnington Park.Steve Hislops Duke round Cadwell Park. And Pammie Anderson round at my place.

    Cheers

  11. Isle of Man

    Ducati 916

    Sunny day

    Following Joey around the course

    Maybe in heaven???
