  1. Your fuse is probably fine since the right wiper works.  I would say your wiper motor is burned out, however, both wipers are probably on the same motor.  I would check to make sure your left wiper is attached correctly.  If you have plastic wipers, they could have broken where the motor arm attaches to the blade, causing the connection point to slip.

  2. There are little gear sets for each wiper called a transmission believe it or not. The transmission for that wiper has failed or stripped, or the splined shaft the wiper attaches to is itself stripped. There is also a very small chance that the arm that transmits power to that side has become disconnected. It's not the motor, it's not the fuse, it's not electrical. A real mechanic can figure it out in literally under 10 minutes. How long and how much it costs to fix depends on what the mechanic finds.

  3. Check the fuse. That's most likely the culprit. If the fuse is good, then your wiper motor may be burned out.

  4. it should be under warranty, but i would say that the nut that holds the wiper arm onto the splines is probably loose.  you can pry the plastic cover off and check it-  i think its a 12mm nut  (maybe 14).
