  1. sounds like too much on the battery, or messy wiring.

  2. i think u have a loose wire somewhere or check  the amp load.

  3. If you have an amplifier that large, the power it draws from the battery on the car will likely exceed the limits of the charging system. There are two things that you need. First, are you using large gauge cable for the power and ground leads to the amplifier? (for that large of an amplifier, you should use 10 or 8 gauge) If you have something smaller, chances are it will cause a lot of heat on the cable and bad things could happen... could wreck the amplifier, wreck the battery, wreck the charging system in your car, or cause a fire. Once you have the correct size cables on the amplifier, you will need to get another battery and a capacitor from a car audio store. To add a second battery to your car, you will need to install some additional hardware, so that both batteries charge and neither draw on each other. You can probably get a capacitor, another battery, and all of the necessary components to install them for under $200. This will ensure that you have enough electrical power to keep a constant 12V on the amplifier all the time. The problem you have now is as you turn up the volume, the draw is higher. As the draw increases, eventually the voltage will drop and the amplifier will shut off...

    Good luck.

  4. One of two things. Like what these other people said a loose wire or you could have a short somewhere either in the stereo or in the wiring
