What would cause a gas pump at a gas station to pump gasoline a lot slower than usual?

  1. The oil companys had to slow down the pumps because the system could not add up the cost fast enough at todays price. lol. Actually for real it could be a restricted filter inside the pump. Some pumps have filters that are mounted externally but most of them are inside, but they all have filters.


  2. When it happens at the station I work at, it's usually the filter on the pump.
