  2. Cataracts cause the eye to have somewhat of a milky look.  This typically doesn't happen until an individual is older, but could happen at a younger age.  The person should see an Ophthalmologist for a complete eye exam to determine the cause of this.

  3. If the eye looks completely white, it is the cornea not the iris.

    Quite a number of corneal diseases can cause corneal scarring and opacification.  Also trauma, injury and chemical burns can cause the cornea to turn white.
