What would cause bleeding after death

Someone close to me died, and after they passed they bled rectally and anally, I would like to know what would have caused this. He was an alcoholic for a long time. Before he died he also lost speech although he could understand and do basic hand signs.

this happens for some reason i donno why!

my uncle was a alcoholic and he nearly died and was found with these symtoms!

Sounds like he was bleeding internally and possibly had blood in his colon/intestines.  In death, when everything stops all of the organs and muscles relax letting any fluids in them to release.

Not being embalmed soon enough after death, or at all.
