my son who is a very active and very normal child has been having issues with simple little scrapes and scratches . the first one one looked like a rug burn and was about the size of a nickle . it raised up and had pus coming out . i got it healed up and then today he showed me a little place where he had bumped his thumb . it is right at the white of his nail and his cuticle . it looks like the infection is going under his nail . has anybody else seen anything like this before ? thanks in advane for your answers !!!

  1. bacteria

  2. He's a kid...more so he's a thriving boy... I wouldn't call these infections but simply the consequence of a fall or bump..clean the area well and bandage, if its really bad send to the doctor...otherwise he's just fine. Don't rely too heavily on the anti bacterial soap..it could prevent supergerms from being treated effectively

  3. That might be a staph infection.
