i remember him getting mad after the 2000 daytona 500, calling it "the worst racing he's seen at daytona in a long time". wonder what he would have said after this debacle of a "race".

  1. "how'd junior do?"

or "what race?"- pointing to the fact there was indeed, No race.

  2. NASCAR would have given him good tires like Jimmy Johnson and Carl Edwards got...

  3. Senior would have been retired around 2004 or so....

"Boy, I'm glad I wasn't in that race. Today affirmed my decision to retire a  few years back. I don't know what's going on with Goodyear these days, but It ain't pretty, I can tell you that."

Nascar24, they had cautions for SAFETY. It would have been so much worse to see at least 15 potential blowouts or failures. It's for the driver's safety.

  4. This had to have been the worst race ever! I'm glad I decided to not go. The worst!

  5. He would have been ticked off about the tires and would not have minced words before he picked up his trophy.  :0)

And NASCAR24....I am not a Jr. fan...but that guy wouldn't have fallen out of the top 12 if he crashed on the first half lap.   How can you say a race like this was rigged for that???

  6. He would have chalked it up to just racing on Goodyear tires.

  7. It Sucked.

  8. I thought things in NASCAR were supposed to get better over time. Obviously Goodyear didn't get the message.

  9. He may have said something like this,

"these tires are c**p, I can not believe it is 2008 and this is the best Good Year can do."

  10. it sucked lol

  11. I don't think Dale Sr. would even had referred to what occurred Sunday as a race. I sure don't. It was more like sitting in rush hour and going for 5 minuets then to find that your stuck in traffic again. It was just c**p!

  12. Senior, like all the other drivers, knew where his bread was buttered.

He would have toed the line like all the other drivers did yesterday.

Nobody wants to visit the red trailer.

On the other hand, i expect there are some engineers at Goodyear that are having a very bad day.

  13. He probably would have said as he was sarcastic sometimes "There was a race today? I saw a seven lap trophy dash."

  14. It was a horrible race and it was rigged. The only reason they

had so many cautions because of tire wear was so that the

top 12 would not blow tires and end up falling outside of the top 12. It all has to do with money and pleasing the sponsors.

If it was a real race where they didn't worry about sponsors

and money, then they would have let them race and blow

tires and not worry if their precious Dale Jr fell out of the top

    12. They would have let the dominoes fall as they fell and let

the true winner win even if it meant a field filler win like JJ Yeley or Dave Blaney etc.

  15. He would have said things that could not have been repeated and then told the same to the biggies at NASCAR
