What would do better in the snow?

A bmw x5 with stock tires or a honda civic with snow tires and studs.

  1. it depends if the bmw ur talking about is an xi, if it is then it will handle through snow with no problem, but a honda civic with its front wheel drive will do excellent in snow as well, i have a 07 civic with all weather bridgestone tires and it snows like crazy up here in south dakota and it does excellent in heavy snow and my friends bmw 330 xi does excellent in snow to, i really dont know which would do better its hard but i think the bmw would do better but not much better if it was an xi, hope this helps


  2. Both are capable in the snow if the driver goes slow and always remembers that they are driving on ice particles. I once had a Mazda Miata and drove it in the snow just fine so the make really doesn't matter if one is careful.  The first winter I had a Jeep, I did a few 360's in traffic in the snow.
