What would drive him to do this?

ok today like at 8:45 am. i got a knock on my door i got up and i went to c who it was threw the peep hole n it was a guy probably my age which is 14.he kept knocking and ringing the door bell.so he got past the drive way and then he came back.he kept knocking on the door and then he said my name or like moaned it, he was all ddeemooreee {Demoree}..that's when i got really creeped out..but then he left.its creepy cause i don't know who this guy is so,maybe he knows me idk. i called my dad n hes all like if he comes back call me..he most of knew that my parents weren't home.so y would he do that? i just really scared cause he wouldnt go away...Thanks : )

Good idea not to answer the door. It is also a good idea to keep those doors locked when you are home alone. You have no idea why he came to your door so that is the best plan. He could have been on drugs, nuts, or have been told by someone things about you that aren't true. Or he could have been joking around and put up to it by a friend because you were still in bed. Just play it safe.

Do not answer the door if you do not know who the person is. If he comes back, call your dad! Stranger danger!!

IF HE COMES BACK,  CALL THE COPS AND TAKE HIS PICTURE, IN THAT ORDER. IF YOU DON'T KNOW HIM, MAYBE A PICTURE WOULD SHOW THE COPS WHO HE IS. IF YOU SEE HIM AT SCHOOL, TELL A PRINCIPAL OR TEACHER OR SOMETHING.

Don't answer the door.  Is he a kid from your school or someone in the neighborhood?

   Turn on a radio or TV.  The guy cannot tell for sure if your house has 1 or 10 people in it..
