What would happen if Alaska melted?

No offense for anyone who lives in Alaska...I actually live in Louisiana and we're above sea level...We can drown at any moment...

If Alaska melted it would probably be a result of global warming. So if Alaska melted the sea level would rise tremendously and might even flood coastal cities.

If Alaska melted then the whole world would be underwater because the extra water from Alaska melting would add to the massive amount of water in the ocean and make it rise.
