  1. Nothing would happen.  It is the high commissioner who would become president.

    Australians would remain well balanced people.  Chips on both shoulders.


  2. If Australia became a republic then we would have a President as the head of country, there would be no monarch representative in the form of a Governorr General and all political ties to England would desist.

  3. I'm not entirely sure, but I think instead of Prime Minister Kevin Rudd it will be President Kevin Rudd! Sounds funny doesn't it?
