What would happen if I cleaned my computer every day?

I want to use disk clean up every day because I think it would be good for my computer. is that ok or will that just kill my computer?

It should be fine, but there isn't any reason to. It wouldn't be good for it - it should either work as it always had or worse.

To keep your computer in optimum performance, I'd run Disk Cleanup every month. I'd also run Disk Defragmenter, which is designed to make it faster (It makes data easier to access, type it into Google for more information)

dont do that..it would get too clean and start thinking for itself. then it would start making other computers that have the knowledge to self replicate. Its bad dude...trust me..I did that once.

It would do no harm to your computer physically, but the performance gain will be almost none. You would only see a performance boost if you didn't clear it for months on end.

My suggestion, clean every week or so.

There is only a minor problem. It does wear on the HD, but only in a very small amount.

Even doing a disk clean up everyday, it would take decades for the HD to be damaged by it.
