What would happen if I planted a moldy potato?

You know when they've gone off and start to grow sprouts.. if I plant them will they grow?

they will grow but you could grow more if you cut the potato up so that you have 1-2 sprouts on each part, bury it and water occasionally.

yes remember to plant it roots down and put soil around it and water once or twice a day
