  1. The caterpillar is the only food source for the egg and wasp larvae to develop.  It would surely die.  If you are concerned about the life of the caterpillar, nature has a balance.  Whatever happens was supposed to happen.

  2. They would most definitely die. The baby wasps need to feed off of the insides of the caterpillar to survive while the the caterpillar is slowly dieing a painful death of something chewing its way out of it.

Wait, you're talking about the caterpillar aren't you? If so, O HE(LL)W NAW!

  3. Neither the developing wasp eggs nor the caterpillar would survive.  Honestly the amount of damage you would do to the caterpillar in removing the eggs would destroy vital organs and it would die.  And the developing wasps would lack their nutritional source and so would die as well.

When people try to put moral implications into natural behaviors it just gets messy for everyone involved.

  4. Assuming Paul is right and everything that happens is supposed to happen then you're supposed to take the larvae off the caterpiller if you want to. It's your choice, a bunch of wasps, or a butterfly
