What would happen if....(Yes, I know it's totally hypothetical, but was wondering what the law is.)?

What would happen if between now and election Obama and McCain passed away? Would the RNC and DNC elect new people to run in November or would they post-pone the elections...or would the Vice's run?

They can't post-pone the election. Too many other people are running, so will guess VP will pick their own VP. Interesting question. Sure hope someone answers that knows for sure.
