  1. Absolutly nothing. Storms form on fronts. Fronts often block and push hurricanes out of the way. Hurricanes them selves can spawn tornadoes but only after landfall and typically they are weak.


  2. That would not happen.  The storm could possibility be embedded in the Hurricane but these big storms suck up a lot of energy for hundreds of miles around it.   You see that with feeder bands.

    By the way, fronts dont block or push hurricanes at all.  Hurricanes seek the path of least resistance.  Least resistance is an area  of lower pressure which fronts are.  The best indicator of movement is 500mb height falls.  What could block a hurricane is a jet stream or area of high pressure.   Remeber, from high to low pressure.
