  1. Here they eat side by side at the outdoor food bowl.  The trouble makers are the raccoons who have gotten so aggressive the strays wait 50 feet down the driveway till they're gone.  Racoons kill and eat kittens too, so they're a danger. I've live trapped the raccoons here and moved them out to the country by the river area.  But the possums, they're 'good people' and don't cause problems.

  2. Opossums are pretty fierce fighters, although they have very poor eyesight.  Because of their sizes, I doubt your cat would be very interested in the opossum, and the opossum wouldn't bother with your cat unless it felt threatened (typically the same size, so they probably wouldn't care).  For both of their sake's keep them apart.  If they ever did get into a fight, the opossum would probably tear your kitty to shreds.

  3. They would probably get in a fight. It is probably best if they don't get close to eachother. For the cat's or the possums safety.

  4. If the possum starts running, the cat would chase him!

    :D cats are adorable !

  5. The Cat Might try to Chase the possum, And The possum would attack it. Don't let it happen, considering the possum May have Rabies and May kill your Kitten.
