What would happen if a human ate a mosquito?

There was a mosquito sitting on my lips, and not knowing, I ran my tongue around my lips and swallowed it right in. The person next to me saw it all and told me what I just did.

Should I be worried about my health?

Nope, no need to worry at all.

I worked at a health care provider this summer, and it turns out that mosquito's actually cannot deliver enough virus/whatever to affect a human.

You will be just fine. If anything at all, you could make yourself sick by stressing.
