  1. BIG BOOM! basically pressure builds until... BOOOM!! exciting.... huh?

nothing will stop the volcano very easily

  2. The pressure inside will increase until it reaches it's max and then KA-BOOM! and bye bye to those near it.

  3. Like the collapse of a cinder cone and the formation of a caldera?  Then you may have a giant bomb on your hands.  If the magma chamber re-fills and there is no more cindercone to release all the steam and pressure.....Ka-Booooom.

  4. This has actually happened before!  Mt. Saint Helens had it's entrance blocked for the longest time until one day, the pressure in the volcano was to much for it to bear and it exploded sending debris and ash hundreds of miles outwards.  So the answer to your question is that it would probably explode.
