It doesn't make you horny at all... in fact, unless you're horny, it really does very little at all except lower your blood pressure a tiny bit.

If you *are* horny (and you're a man), though... it makes blood-flow to your p***s a little easier and the blood-flow out of it more difficult (a chemical called nitric oxide is responsible, and Viagra makes it more available "down there")... the result is a p***s that's harder than it usually is (or *gets* hard when it usually can't).

It does the same chemical trick for women, but the effect is a little different. All that blood-flow stuff happens the same, and your genitals (lips, v****a and clitoris) will swell with a little more blood than they otherwise would... but the result for women is that their lips and c***s become a little more sensitive from the extra swelling, and their vaginas often secrete more lubricating fluid than they otherwise would (that's what some of the blood that goes there gets made into).

Viagra was used in women who were on antidepressants and had a problem with achieving orgasms.  It did help some women with problems having an o****m.  However, some women did report getting headaches and indigestion from taking Viagra.  

There has been a positive response from women taking Viagra but it is not FDA approved.

I just answered this same question a few days ago.

Viagra was originally designed to lower blood pressure (ever notice how in the ads it says it could cause a severe drop in blood pressure?), but was then marketed for its interesting side effect instead.  A female friend of mine with congestive heart failure was recently prescribed Viagra to lower her blood pressure.  She gets strange looks at the pharmacy when she goes to fill it, but as of yet, it hasn't affected her libido at all.
