  1. If it happens due to global warming then the sea water level will rise and many of the coastal areas lower in height may submerge in water

  2. It is, due to global warming, the sea level would rise to the extremes.  It is certainly a worrying issue. Sign a petition to combat it here: http://sunrisefamily.com.au/current/peti... ;-)

  9. The ice caps have been receding since the last ice age.  Oceans rise when ice melts, in general.
