  1. Planting a tree is a wonderful idea.  We do have to offset all the rainforest that are being cut down....  You can plant a tree anywhere, even in the desert.  As far as global warming and polar ice caps, I thought I would leave the answers up to the scientist with all their ph'd's... but they in all their glorious wisdom cannot seem to agree on their positions with this.  I'm so confused.

I started switching all my light bulbs to florescent... then someone shared with me how much mercury we are now putting into our world with all these florescent bulbs... ugh, it's enough to drive a vegan to meat!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. I planted 750 trees this year, so I did some for others!  ps. back when there was global cooling here in fla in the 80's, the orange trees all died and they had to be moved south for the heat...do you think we can now move them back to north florida with the global warming and if so, will they grow large enough to produce before global cooling comes back?

  3. You don't understand the global warming process.

Trees give off hydro carbons (green house gases) during the day. They benefit from green house gases and are contributing to global warming. It ensures the survival of their species.

The problem with the loss of plant life is plants also give off oxygen at night. The atmosphere will have an increase in carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide (poisonous gases) because of the loss of forest.

As the planet warms, hydro carbons will cause the planets temperature to rise and moisture in the atmosphere resulting in more rain. Ideal conditions for plant life to proliferate.

Each global warming cycle in the past has caused the creation of thousands of new species of plants.
