  1. They would float around for a little bit and then melt.  :]]

  2. it would do nothing

then u would have like 8 billion people saying wtf did i just do this for?

"i just came from the middle of my continent and this didnt do s**z? what the eff?"

  3. We would have very crowded coastlines.

  4. No appreciable change. Ice cubes are too small.

  5. cost of  ice for next 24 hour will be in peak

  6. Well, we're talking about 6.3 billion ice cubes...

    ...that depends on two things:

1.) The size of the ice cubes.

2.) The temperature of the ice cubes, (yes, not all ice is created equal; ice that's at 20 degrees below zero would take a bit longer than your standard just-below-freezing variety of ice cube.

But, realistically speaking, no appreciable change would be detected, either on the spot, or remotely (by satellite thermal imaging).

  7. there will be no rise in water level

  8. The beaches would crumble and fall into the water from so many people crowding on the shore!!

  9. It should have no effect for at least a couple of reasons. 6,000,000,000 one inch ice cubes would only amount to about 2.35 cubic miles of ice - a mere drop in the bucket compared to the world's oceans. Any cooling effect they did have on the oceans would probably be countered by an increase in temperature of the atmosphere due to the heat given off by all of the ice making machines and freezers that froze all of those ice cubes. Who knows, go ask your science teacher.
