I bet if you search Answers or Google it you will find some stories written about this happening.

I remember seeing a story in USA Today one year after the game.

Dear CJ,

That would mean that everybody would have to eat at the same time. The body does have a time clock believe it or not.

Just pray that when they all had something to eat it wasn't CHILI ! The guy above me is not realistic he does't know

The sewer systems would be overwhelmed.  Backflow systems wouldn't work, so everyone's home would be flooded (though the toilet, tub, sink, etc.) with sewage.  Manhole covers would flood and overflow, leaving cities ankle keep in sewage.
