What would happen if i lost a paper with my name and social security number on it?

would anything happen at all? i mean, if i were to find such a piece of paper, i wouldnt do anything about it, so why would anyone do anything to me? but im really scared right now of identity theft.

they go on buying all these cars and luxerys with it. no one's that good enough to just throw it away or do nothing with it

well you can contact credit companies like trans-union and tell them what happened. they will add extra security stuff when applying for credit with your name like ID card and stuff like that.

so go head and contact them, it is really important you do that.
