Lets say i were to buy a reticulated python baby and put it in a 20 gallon long tank and just leave it there with water, heat and give it food every week...and lets say i were to never change its tank size..what would happen?would it break through the tank because it gets too big?

DISCLAIMER: I dont own and i will never own a reticulated python, im just curious as to what would happen if i would just leave a reticulated python in a 20long.

  1. hopefully if anyone found out they would call the humane society on you

  2. pretty much the same that would happen if you put a person in a 2x2room and treated them the same

  3. it would die a very nasty death.think what would happen if you put a baby in a shoe box and left it there. apart from that bear in mind they are very temperamental and would be in a bad bad mood from being cooped up and you would get bitten and hurt probably killed. remember the retec when fully grown is the biggest snake in the world.think telegraph pole size and you wont be far out.a snake this size really needs a room sized Viv. i have an 18ft 170pound Burmese python and she has her own room.retecs are bigger and need more space.

  4. it would break through the cage
