I'm just wondering; I know that this will probably never happen.

I know that rain forests and other environments like that would be greatly affected... But...

Any other ideas?

And no, this is not for a school project. It's just a question formed by my insatiable curiosity.

  1. Do you mean, across the entire globe?

One result would be an increase in the global surface temperature (global warming), because rainfall (convection) is one of the balancing processes the atmosphere uses to remove excess heat energy from the lower atmosphere to the upper atmosphere.

I don't offhand know just how much of an increase there would be.

  2. nothing happens. It doesn't affect them as much because the soil is still saturated.

  3. Look at what happened in Geaorgia last year.It was all over the news.type in Georgia+drought in your search browser.

  4. it already happened where i live.
