they wasnt to young they were SIXTEEN, and anyway it doesnt matter if they are under 16 it doesnt matter they still would be able to compete look at tom daily for instance hes only 14 and competeing in the diving competition

Various newspaper find evidence of it on Chinese newspaper online but they are just written but not the "real" proof. NY Times/AP/Telegraph have not used prt scr button to show evidence of what they are saying.

They would be stripped of their medals but I don't believe that means the US would get Gold.
