What would happen if matter did not recycle?

  1. Nothing very exciting.  We wouldn't be alive, that's for sure!


  2. Almost all trash can be useful in some way.

    Paper and biodegradable material can become fertilizer and compost.

    Plastics and rubbers can be reused in different products or turned into fuel.

    Metals and glass would have to be contained somewhere because they can't be recycled in this scenario and it is very hazardous to the environment if it goes to the landfill. Thats why you should never throw electronics in the garbage.

    The rest is chemical waste. Chemical waste which is barely anything but like metals and glass would have to go to a special toxic landfill which is different from a regular landfill because it stores the trash in barrels and in solid rock.
