  1. The bulb would heat up so hot that it would explode. I think.

  2. It would get hot inside. Isn't that how an easy bake oven works?

  3. Hey TheTwistedOne,

Well for the record, (pear-shaped) bulbs contain a vacuum. So as you'd need a vacuum inside the box to prevent air currents altering the temperature of the reflective walls, you can do away with the glass of the bulb altogether (doing away with the problem of the glass melting), so it becomes a sealed box containing a vacuum and a filament, with walls lined of (VERY) reflective material. However all objects, no matter how reflective absorb some energy that is cast upon them, turning that energy into heat. So all that would happen, as Jonathan John has just beaten me to saying is that the reflective substance would heat up, untill something melted or caught fire. That and there would be a h**l of alot of photons bouncing around inside!

Have fun thinking it over. (Now that I've told you it all :\ )

  4. The box would heat up. I would die. Nothing else...
