I am studying thermal pollution (temperature change in natural water caused by human influence).

Any ideas about this question?

  1. I watch our news and they are always talking about the Gulf Stream and how it is continuously moving about that is what makes up the different weather patterns that we deal with on a daily basis. So yes the flow does change that's the beauty of weather

  2. As big a thing as the Gulf stream is. It seems preposterous to even think we could do anything to speed it up or slow it down.

  3. You'd have less heat moving northward, and more would concentrate in the tropics.  Colder in the east coast of the US, warmer in the Carribean.  Its a giant heat pump moving the water.
