Most have been effected 1 way or another due to an inferior product. What would NASCAR do if say 10 big name drivers refused to race on the tire provided?

  1. they would have to ride on their rims

  2. boy u hate goodyear

nascar would change the tire , ten big names , BIG NAMES

  3. thats 10 drivers that wouldnt be racing that week

all the non top 35 could race

  4. 10 guesses you're a Stewart fan, right?

Look, if Goodyear wasn't "producing" they wouldn't be "providing."

    GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO J Gordon!

  5. i remember back to a race last year i think.  DW said its happened before, for one race.  For that race they used Hoosier tires.  So they might do the same thing.

  6. They wouldn't race, the race would still continue, and whoever boycotted wouldn't be getting any points that week.

  7. if ten big name drivers refused to race on the tire provided, nascar would probably find ten more drivers to take their place.  nascar is the sanctioning body - they make the rules. if a driver doesn't want to follow them, then that driver doesn't have to participate.  an example - the first year talladega opened, most of the drivers went on strike - headed by richard petty and the "professional drivers association."  this "union" was concerned about the high speeds generated on the track and the safety of the drivers.  so bill france went out and found other drivers and held the race anyway.

next year those drivers were back on the track.

  8. Been done before (when Talladega was first opened ) and Goodyear is still the tire of NASCAR.

  9. If they did?  Alot of Nationwide and ARCA series drivers, would get their shot, at the BIG LEAGUES !!!

  10. You are off your meds.
