  1. THere would be no high tide and all the srfers would get upset.

And women would have no reason to have hunger attacks and eat like lil piglets.

  2. We'd probably get hit by more asteroids.  At present the moon's gravitational pull and position protects earth from at lot of hits (hence when you look at the moon you can see massive craters).

  3. if the moon vanishes, the axial tilt of the earth wont be stable anymore.. bcuz the moon stabilizes the tilt of the earth..

also, there will catasthrophic change in the climate of our earth..

the deserts known today can get snow.. and canada can be as dry as a desert.. it is all bcuz the earth will wobble on its axis making the different locations in our planet be in different amount of sunlight for just a few moments.. before it changes again... ^_^

    hope that helped..

  4. well first thing what would happen the climate could be really hot and change to freezing cold in a matter of secounds and the sea and if you visit the beach the water would probablly be lying up against the sand and the whole oceon would be very calm and still.

this is because the moons gravitational pull puls the water towrds it otherwords land and if it vanished the night sky would be extreamly dark, you wouldnt be able to see you hand infront of your face.

i gt this of this program i remember watching the other night      earths satiliete it was called

  5. then there would be no such thing as night times and days would be full of light. because the moon covers up the sun in the dark.

  6. a cheese shortage....there would no longer be a need for crackers.

  7. No more werewolves

  8. not much, tides would get screwed up. would be a tiny bit darker at night.

  9. The end of tides, seasons as we know it and the earth would wobble.  There would be no life left on the earth.  The entire existence of life on this planet is dependent on the moon being where it is.  There was a documentary shown recently explaining the importance of the moon.

The documentary was called "If we had no moon" and you can see the dramatic effects once you get the DVD.

Here's a link to an article that was written in Astrology magazine.

The documentary "If we had no moon" is available for viewing on youtubue.  It's in 5 parts.  This will give you a detailed answer and it's fun to watch !  Here's the link.

There would still be tides but much more negligible than today.   Because of the solar effect, they would still exist but very much diminished.

    There would still be waves.
