  1. Wear thicker sun glasses.

  2. It'd get really hot and we'd all die.

  3. ermmm the earth would become very hot

  4. We would slowly die. End of story.

  5. Well...that is projected to actually happen in 4.5 Billion Years.

And, when it does, temperatures here on Earth will skyrocket beyond anything ever seen before. Everything will be incinerated and the surface of the Earth will be water free,

or waterless if you prefer that term. Daytime temps of around 250 degrees might be the normal situation until the Earth and the Mon are absorbed by the Sun itself.

  6. well in a couple of billion years when the sun begins to die it will expand taking mars venus and earth with it so nothing really to worry bout

  7. Carbon dioxide would build up faster before it could escape than all the water would evaporate without water all the plants would die with out plants all the animals wold die than the earth unable to handle the immense heat would began to have more earthquakes and volcanics eventually in a couple billion years our planet would look like Mercury.

  8. every thing will be burn

  9. Oh lala...everything will be hot...i mean the temprature will rise

  10. IF THE SUN CAME CLOSER THE ICE IN NORTH N SOUTH POLE WILL MELT RAPIDLY--------INCREASE IN GLOBAL WARMING. D WATER LEVEL WILL RISE --IN SHORT  ALL PROBLEMS N LIFE ON EARTH MAY COME TO AN END..

  11. Hey, anjnbf, where did you get that information?

  12. If the sun would be close to the Earth the first thing you would notice would be the searing heat, oceans would boil,Green land and polar ice caps would melt, polar bears would become extinct. And think about it,Greenland's 772,000 square miles of ice would melt, that would mean a 7 meter rise in sea level, flooding major cities close to shore. Also, the ice on our planet also has another job:to reflect the Sun's heat back into space, without our ice we would probably be living underground in some places due to the extreme heat, and that heat will make bacteria blossom, which will use up all the oxygen in the air making it harder for us to breath. And if that wasn't enough, the sun's gravitational pull might be able to pull comets and meteors out of their usual orbits and send them flying towards us,with comets 2 miles and more in diameter,if one like that hit the Earth, the shock wave and impact would be unimaginable, killing millions.Even if a comet would hit the water,it wouldn't just sink in,it would make a 100+ meter wave that would roll over miles of landscape, flooding it completely. And like the cherry on the cake, depending on how close the sun is,it could burn our planet to ashes.

  13. The sun is exactly the right distance from earth to sustain life.  If it were any closer, it would be way to hot and life could not go one.  Imagine being in death valley all the time at over 120 degrees.  We are having problems with polar ice melt.  Any closer to the sun, there would not be any ice at all and a lot of coastal land would now be under water.  The water would be way to warm to support most life and algae and bacterias would bloom, sucking out any remaining oxygen.  Kind of a dismal outlook but that is why God put the sun where it is.  (Any farther away and we would freeze, imagine Ant-artic all the time!)

  14. the earth will be hotter and the risk of global warming will increase

  15. the earth would be VERY hot!
