  1. no, a vortex is a point where the fluid spins. in an idealised fluid, it is possible to have two sources, or "fans", with no vorticity.

    in real life, there would probably be a lot of vorticity though, because fluid mechanics in real life is stupidly complicated.

    so the answer is "yes" in practice, and "not nessecarily" in theory.


  2. more than likely no because of the fact it would have a slight different pressure between them but the air entering into the  fans will not be constant or be equally the same in both fans there will be to much inconsistency to form a noticeable vortex
