Well. not much really.

The Democrat plan only makes a few rules that make plans easier to transfer and harder to deny. It still leaves the health insurance in the control of private for profit companies.

Everybody has the idea that a govt health insurance plan would cost more than what exists now.

That is wrong though.

Even with health insurance run by private companies Americans still pay more per person in the country in taxes for health care than almost anybody else.

An American pays much more in taxes for health care than a Canadian does and then has extremely high private payments on top of that.

The American does not even receive as good of care as the Canadian does for their money either.

If everyone had government health care, then every American would have access to good health care. That's what would happen.

The people in Congress have really good health care and we pay for it.  Poor people and the elderly have government health care and we pay for it.

I have excellent health care because of my employer but should I change jobs or decide to become an entrepreneur that could change. I don't understand why every American shouldn't have good health care, regardless of their employer. They do it in other countries and the people I know, who live in Europe for instance, love their health care.
