My friend and I were out in the rain, and afterwards there was a rainbow. (Always happens in my town)

Then a plane flew by, and my friend asked, 'Would you see colors. or just the normal sky?'

I thought it was a good question :]

  1. you will become g*y

  2. just the normal sky

  3. Unfortunatly, you would only see the normal sky. But you would still see the rainbow. It is impossible to 'go through' a rainbow because the rainbow appears as a reflection of the sunshine and the rain. The color of the rainbow appears from the colors from the sun reflecting of the water. So it is impossible to go through a rainbow. Though it would be pretty cool if you actually could.

  4. You will see the CareBears sliding down a colorful slide. Sooo cute!

  5. You can't.

The rainbow you see is light difracting off water

    droplets.

It would not be apparent at any other angle and would disappear if approached.

  6. The rainbow is always in front of you, while the Sun is behind you, and it is caused by sunlight being reflected and refracted back towards you by falling rain; blue light is refracted little bit more strongly. So the rainbow would move away from you until it reached the edge of where it was raining, when it would disappear.

  7. You would look like a skittle!
