  1. The Player Would not play for the AL or the NL.

    If the NL had an injury the player can be on the All-Star team.

  2. If the player was good enough to be an allstar he wouldnt of been traded. That just doesnt happen in the MLB so just dont worry about it

  3. Before the game? You don't play. That happened to Carlos Beltran a few years ago.

  4. The player gets a bad deal and doesn't get to play probably.

  5. There was a similar situation a few yrs ago in the NHL w/Sandish Ozolinsh. Ozolinsh was traded from an eastern confrence team to a western team a day before the gam.e

    Ozolinsh suited up for the Eastern team and was annonced as "From the Florida Panthers but Now Traded to the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim SANDISH OZOLINSH"!!
