My wife would beat my butt if she ever found out. Actually I did lose mine while at work. I bought another one just like it. That was over 20 years ago.

I depends on how superstitious you are and how your marraige is going I suppose.

My sis lost hers atleast a year ago and her marraige is still one from a fairytale :)

It would be OK a wedding ring it's the symbol of love but it doesn't replace the true feelings from the heart.

I would be up Sh@t creek with no paddle, my hubby would jump to conclusion and would not be good.  Suggestion to all that this could happen to...have your ring sized a half size smaller to ensure security on your finger!  Good Luck to all...If all else fails by super glue...lol

According to most folklore, where there is no mention of a wedding ring, a marriage is only ended when one partner or the other dies. This is because divorce was so uncommon until the 1940's that most people didn't know someone who had been divorced.

The only thing a lost wedding ring really signifies is a momentary lapse. There's no reason whatsoever to worry that your marriage is on the rocks. The only reason this happens is because people make choices without considering the marriage before they get married.

However, if the stone falls out of your wedding ring, that's an omen that "forever" is gone... so yes, in that case, the dream could be over.

I like the advice that was given: go get a new one.
