If you punch a real police officer in the face, yes, you will get arrested and most likely serve some jail time. If there is someone dressed up as a police officer at a party, let's say a halloween party, and you punch them in the face, you can't get arrested, but you might get a black eye...

I disagree with everyone. My step-brother punched a copper in the face and got 18 months probation, and it wasn't his first ever offence. I know someone who drove at a police woman and stopped just touching her leg and got 12 months probation and anger management. this is in UK

well it actually ALL depends on the reason if u do it for no reason and STAND STILL then ya ur going to jail...But if u run then UR STAYING IN JAIL...
