What would happen if you threw a chunk of matter into absolute nothing?

absolute nothing as in no space time, no universal laws and etc.

  1. I doubt matter could even exist in a place with no space, time, or natural laws of physics.


  2. This is a philosophy question.  Once you add the "magic" factor,(ie getting matter to a place that has no dimension) physics completely breaks down.

  3. Such an event might trigger the start of a new Universe.

    There are some technical issues to get over first.  How you get access to an absolute nothing.  How you get real matter there.

  4. Then the absolute nothing would not be absolute nothing anymore. You'd have to find another absolute nothing to conduct your experiment... This might take you a while.

  5. It would depend on which one of the 4 elements the matter is: earth, fire, air or water.
