  1. Assuming the contacts and glasses were both balanced out to equal your exact prescription, nothing at all- you'd just have good vision.

If each is IN ITSELF your entire power prescrption, you'd have poor vision.

  2. It depends.  I wear contacts but I also now have to wear reading glasses.  The contacts correct my near-sightedness so I can see things far away clearly but because of age, I now can't see thing close or in small print so I wear reading glasses to magnify the small stuff.  If I pop out my contacts, I can read the small stuff without a problem with no glasses, but then I couldn't see a bus barreling down on me.

  3. You would see really blurry and it would hurt your eyes after a while.

  4. Well, your prescription would be double, so of course it will be blurry.

Although some people who wear contacts for distance only, but require reading glasses , will still put glasses on to see when they read....but that isn't the same as if they were both for distance correction.

  5. Rarely a patient will be helped by wearing both at the same time.

  6. We would most likely have to peel your lips off of the ceiling.

  7. Well, you won't see twice as good, that's for sure.

If your contacts correct your vision to normal then adding the same prescription in your glasses would put your vision off in the other direction.

I you need a -2.00 to see well and you add another -2.00 to it, you'd need about +2.00 to get back to seeing well.

  8. Your prescription would change if your eyes were to adjust to that.

Jokingly, I was going to say that you would see an immense glob that looks like an amoeba, only to realize that you can now see germs on a surface because of the magnification.

  9. You would see very blurry due to being over corrected.
